Stan Kroenke Takes Control of Rams and Angels Amid Federal Financial Investigation

Stan Kroenke, former owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels, will take over from Mark Walter, who previously controlled both teams. Kroenkke, who has won championships in the NFL, NHL (twice), and NBA (twin), will take control of the Rams and Angels. However, questions have been raised about Walter's finances and the future of his sports holdings. A federal investigation into over $21 billion in loans made by two Delaware insurers Walter owns has also raised questions about his ownership. Meanwhile, the Los Angles team was sold for $4 billion by Arte Moreno, who bought the team 23 years ago for $184 million.
