Nike Sets Worldwide October Release for Caitlin Clark's First Signature Shoe

Nike’s pricing varies by market and age group: the adult shoe will cost $140 in North America and $135 elsewhere, while youth sizes are listed at $115 for middle-school children and $105 for younger kids.
Clark said the project felt especially meaningful because she had never expected to have a signature shoe: “A lot of thought and time has gone into this shoe. I never thought I would have my own signature shoe, and now that I do, it’s pretty special.”
The Caitlin 1 is part of Clark’s reported eight-year, $28 million Nike contract, according to Marca.
Clark’s Fever teammates reacted enthusiastically to the surprise gifts: one player jumped with excitement, another pretended to use a shoe as a phone, and Tyasha Harris said, “Christmas came early.”
The collection’s apparel goes beyond performance basics, with Nike describing the jackets, hoodies and tees as “elevated essentials” that reflect Clark’s routines, personal journey and love of basketball.
Caitlin Clark's first Nike signature basketball shoe launches worldwide October 1, marking a milestone moment for the Indiana Fever star. The Caitlin 1, priced at $140 for adults in North America, will debut in six colorways—Caitlin Blue, Warning Code, Midnight Fever, Purple Venom, Ice Cold and Cave Stone—alongside an 18-piece apparel collection designed over roughly two years with Clark's direct input.
Clark has already previewed the low-top shoe in games and gifted unreleased pairs to her Fever teammates, who erupted with excitement. "A lot of thought and time has gone into this shoe," Clark said. "I never thought I would have my own signature shoe, and now that I do, it's pretty special." The launch comes as part of her reported eight-year, $28 million Nike deal.
The Caitlin 1 features Nike Opticast upper technology, forefoot Air Zoom Turbo cushioning, and full-length Cushlon foam to support quick cuts and step-backs. A midfoot shank provides lateral stability, while multidirectional traction patterns are built for perimeter shooting. The shoe includes design elements honoring Clark's No. 22 jersey, CC branding, and her Indiana roots through driveway-court-inspired graphics.
The Caitlin 1 footwear and apparel collection will launch in China on September 24, more than a week ahead of the global release. Nike.com, SNKRS, and select retailers worldwide will stock the shoe starting October 1. Youth sizing is available at $115 for middle-school children and $105 for younger kids, while international adult pricing sits at $135.
Clark surprised her Indiana Fever teammates with unreleased pairs before the official launch, turning their genuine reactions into organic marketing. One player jumped with excitement, another playfully pretended to use a shoe as a phone. Tyasha Harris declared, "Christmas came early." College Football Network noted that fans are already floored by the shoe's all-black colorway, calling them "the best sellers."
Clark joins an elite group of WNBA athletes with signature footwear, representing Nike's largest signature line expansion in women's basketball in years. The apparel collection goes beyond basic performance wear—Nike calls the jackets, hoodies and tees "elevated essentials" that reflect Clark's personal journey and love of basketball. This launch sets a new benchmark for female athlete endorsement deals and lifestyle integration.
