Gold X2 Reports Strong Drill Results at Ontario Span Prospect

The phase-one program comprised 11 holes totaling 4,581 metres: eight holes tested the historical Span prospect along strike for near-surface ounces, while three additional holes evaluated historical drilling and continuity.
Other reported intercepts included 11.0 metres grading 1.22 g/t gold in hole MSD-26-401, as well as 7.15 metres at 2.60 g/t—including 4 metres at 4.34 g/t—in hole MSD-26-427.
The continuity holes encountered tightly spaced, narrow shear zones consistent with 1980s drilling, including a lower-grade mineralized envelope around localized higher-grade shears; one example was 30.0 metres at 0.38 g/t gold in MSD-26-395.
Gold X2’s updated 2026 Moss resource estimate totals 2.458 million ounces of indicated gold at 1.04 g/t and 4.209 million ounces of inferred gold at 0.97 g/t; the company expects to update the estimate in the fourth quarter of 2026 or first quarter of 2027.
The Span Prospect has prior exploration history from Inco in the late 1980s and Wesdome Gold Mines in 2017, providing the historical drilling context that the current campaign is testing and extending.
Gold X2 Mining has struck significant gold mineralization at its Span Prospect in northwest Ontario, reporting a phase-one drill intercept of 40.4 meters grading 2.05 grams per tonne gold. The strongest zone within that intercept ran 24.05 meters at 3.17 g/t, suggesting a potential northeast extension of the company's nearby Moss Gold Deposit two kilometers away.
The company drilled 11 holes totaling 4,581 meters across eight historical shear zones and three continuity tests. Results confirm prior exploration work from the 1980s and support Gold X2's plan to drill toward the surface and deeper along the northeast trend, with a second rig joining the program without disrupting ongoing Moss deposit expansion work.
Beyond the 40.4-meter intercept, hole MSD-26-401 returned 11.0 meters at 1.22 g/t gold. Hole MSD-26-427 delivered 7.15 meters grading 2.60 g/t, including a 4-meter section at 4.34 g/t. A parallel shear zone produced an even richer hit: 5.0 meters at 5.34 g/t gold. These results validate the historical Span Prospect drilling concept.
Continuity holes traced tightly spaced shear zones that matched 1980s drilling patterns. One example was hole MSD-26-395, which encountered 30.0 meters at 0.38 g/t gold within a mineralized envelope. The narrow, high-grade shears sit embedded in broader lower-grade halos—a geometry consistent with prior work by Inco in the late 1980s and Wesdome Gold Mines in 2017.
Gold X2's updated 2026 resource estimate for the main Moss deposit totals 2.458 million ounces of indicated gold at 1.04 g/t and 4.209 million ounces of inferred gold at 0.97 g/t—a combined 6.667 million ounces. The company plans to issue a revised estimate in the fourth quarter of 2026 or early first quarter of 2027, which could include early Span results.
Gold X2 has no revenue and continues to burn cash, with negative operating cash flow. However, the company maintains a relatively strong balance sheet with low debt levels. The Span discovery is early-stage and requires additional drilling to prove continuity and economic viability before becoming a material asset contributor.
