Financial Solutions Advisory Group Inc. made major moves into fixed-income ETFs in the first quarter, snapping up millions of shares across five Invesco BulletShares funds, according to Watchlist News. The firm's largest single buy was 1,183,767 shares of the iShares Core 1-5 Year USD Bond ETF (ISTB), valued at roughly $57.37 million — making it the third-largest holding in the portfolio at about 7.9%.
Across all five positions, the firm deployed tens of millions of dollars into short- and medium-duration bond ETFs. These funds track corporate and municipal bonds that mature on fixed dates — making them lower-risk plays in an uncertain rate environment.
The iShares Core 1-5 Year USD Bond ETF (ISTB) was the standout purchase. Financial Solutions bought 1,183,767 shares worth about $57.37 million, according to Watchlist News. That stake represents roughly 7.9% of the firm's total portfolio and gives it approximately 1.21% ownership of the ETF itself.
Financial Solutions was not alone in eyeing ISTB. Spire Wealth Management raised its stake by 218 shares in Q1. Turtle Creek Wealth Advisors LLC opened a brand-new position worth around $44,000. Rossby Financial LCC boosted its holdings by 290 shares. Strive Financial Group LLC and Flagship Harbor Advisors LLC also started new positions during the same period.
Beyond ISTB, Financial Solutions built positions in four other ETFs. It bought 584,593 shares of BSCQ for about $11.42 million — its 14th-largest position at roughly 1.6% of its portfolio. It also picked up 332,695 shares of BSCT for about $6.21 million, landing that fund at the 22nd spot in the portfolio at around 0.9%.
Smaller buys rounded out the moves. The firm added 138,381 shares of BSMS for about $3.24 million and 72,527 shares of BSMT valued at roughly $1.67 million. Together, these five purchases show a clear strategy: spread risk across bond ETFs with staggered maturity dates.
