Major International Stadiums Tease Cryptic Slipknot Campaign Ahead of Expected Tour

Slipknot’s cryptic campaign pointing to September 28 has intensified speculation about a major 2027 stadium tour, with Wembley Stadium and venues across the United States and Canada posting the band’s imagery. The teasers follow Slipknot-branded posters appearing in cities across North, Central and South America and London, directing fans to the band’s promotional website. No tour dates, venues or supporting acts have been officially confirmed, though the breadth of the campaign suggests an announcement could cover more than a handful of shows. The buildup comes after the band released “Arsenal,” a standalone single that guitarist Jim Root says will not appear on the group’s upcoming album, which is being developed with producer Matt Wallace.
The stadiums posting teasers include SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Soldier Field in Chicago, Fenway Park in Boston, Chase Field in Phoenix, Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Daikin Park in Houston and DICK’S Sporting Goods Park in Colorado; Chase Field displayed the band’s flaming logo on its scoreboard.
Wembley’s caption, “If you’re 555…,” references the lyric “If you’re 555, then I’m 666” from Slipknot’s 2001 song “The Heretic Anthem.”
“Arsenal” was Slipknot’s first new track in more than three years, and it was the band’s first release following its split with longtime turntablist Sid Wilson and its first recording featuring drummer Eloy Casagrande.
The campaign’s reach had not extended to Australia, which had not appeared in the posters or venue teasers reported at the time.
