The managing director of Malaysian construction firm Mamfor Sdn Bhd testified in court that he donated RM19.5 million to ruling party Bersatu to help his younger brother's company win a RM605 million government road contract, according to Free Malaysia Today. A Datuk's Call That Started the Donation Chain
Shahradzi told the court that a man named Datuk Azman Yusoff, whom he knew from the Works Ministry circle, urged him to donate to Bersatu to help secure the project. He estimated the expected contribution at about 3–4% of the contract value, based on what he called industry experience. That estimate put the expected donation at roughly RM18–24 million on a RM605 million deal.
He also testified that Muhyiddin Yassin had signed a written minute of support for Sutracom's involvement in the project.
