Lewis added a fourth touchdown pass and a rushing score in the second quarter as Colorado built a commanding 42-14 halftime lead. He left the game early with the Buffaloes firmly in control.

The dominant performance offers encouragement for head coach Deion Sanders, whose program finished with just three wins last season. Colorado faces Northwestern next on its schedule after this impressive home opener.
