Oklahoma City Thunder Launch New Local Broadcast And Streaming Network Partnership

63 of the 67 Thunder games will air on Griffin Media's KQCW Tulsa station through Spectrum and DirecTV/AT&T U-Verse, with six of those games also available over the air on KQCW and four additional games carried by News On 6.
The four over-the-air Thunder games on News On 6 have scheduled air dates: October 31, November 28, January 18 and April 9.
Griffin Media will produce a 30-minute pregame show from its studios before each Thunder game as part of the expanded local package.
The Thunder Game Day Network rollout includes a new scorebug and updated graphics to accompany the revamped broadcast presentation.
Thunder Plus, the league’s streaming option, will offer a promotional price of $99.99 for the full season during September 8–30, after which the standard pricing of $19.99 per month or $108.99 for the season applies.
The Oklahoma City Thunder unveiled a major broadcast overhaul for the 2026-27 season, launching the Thunder Game Day Network in partnership with Griffin Media to air 67 regular-season games across local TV and streaming platforms. WCNC reported that the deal includes 10 games on free, over-the-air channels — six on KQCW and four on News On 6 — while the remaining 57 games stream on Griffin Media's cable reach and the NBA app's new Thunder Plus service.
Thunder Plus costs $19.99 per month or $108.99 for the full season, with an early-bird discount of $99.99 through September 30. WFAA noted the move fills the gap left by FanDuel Sports Network's exit, ensuring in-market fans can watch nearly all local games while out-of-market viewers access League Pass without blackout restrictions.
Four Thunder games will air free on News On 6 on October 31, November 28, January 18, and April 9. Six additional games will broadcast free on KQCW. KIIITV reported that this gives cord-cutting fans a straightforward way to catch Thunder basketball without paying extra.
Griffin Media will carry 63 of the 67 games on KQCW Tulsa through Spectrum, DirecTV, and AT&T U-Verse. The company will also produce a 30-minute pregame show from its studios before each broadcast, according to Fox61. This expanded local production signals Griffin Media's commitment to deepening Thunder coverage across Oklahoma and neighboring states.
Thunder Plus offers fans a cheaper alternative to cable or national League Pass. The promotional price of $99.99 for the entire season (available through September 30) beats the standard $108.99 annual rate. Roundtable noted the service launches with new scorebugs and updated graphics, giving the Thunder's streaming package a fresh, modern look for the upcoming season.
The Thunder's on-air talent — Chris Fisher, Michael Cage, Nick Gallo, Paris Lawson, and Royce Young — remain intact under the new deal. Thirty national TV games stay exclusive to ESPN, ABC, and other national broadcasts. This setup lets casual fans catch free games locally while hard-core followers can subscribe to Thunder Plus or national packages for complete coverage.
