Haryana Chief Minister And BJP Lawmakers Meet Prime Minister Modi In Delhi

The gathering was described as the first such meeting since the BJP reshuffled state units and appointed new in-charges. Haryana BJP chief Archana Gupta, national general secretary in-charge Smriti Irani and co-in-charge Bhola Singh were also expected to attend.
The reported agenda extended beyond Haryana: party sources said leaders were expected to discuss the political situation and preparations ahead of the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections.
Saini said a grievance would not be considered resolved until the citizen confirmed satisfaction with the solution, and described a parallel system for tracking citizens’ problems that he personally oversees.
The Tribune reported that Modi was likely to assess the BJP’s organisational depth in Haryana and the government’s work on “ease of living” and “ease of business,” alongside promises fulfilled.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and 48 state BJP lawmakers met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his New Delhi residence for what Newsable described as an "extremely meaningful dialogue." The gathering marked the first major meeting since the BJP reorganized its state leadership and represented a wide-ranging review of governance, election promises, and party strategy ahead of key elections.
Modi encouraged the lawmakers to deepen their social engagement and focus on serving citizens, according to ANI News. The meeting also covered the state's performance on "ease of living" and "ease of business," along with preparations for the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections and voter registration efforts.
Before the meeting, Chief Minister Saini highlighted a new approach to resolving public complaints. A grievance is only marked resolved after the citizen themselves confirms satisfaction with the solution. Saini personally oversees a parallel tracking system that monitors residents' problems from filing through to confirmation — ensuring no issue falls through the cracks.
This gathering was the first significant assembly of state lawmakers since the BJP reshuffled its leadership ranks across states. Haryana BJP Chief Archana Gupta, national general secretary in-charge Smriti Irani, and co-in-charge Bhola Singh attended alongside Modi and the MLAs. The reorganization signals the party's push to strengthen its organizational footprint in the state ahead of future elections.
Beyond reviewing Haryana's governance record, party sources told The Tribune that leaders discussed the political landscape and campaign preparations for the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections. The meeting gave Modi a chance to assess the BJP's organizational depth in Haryana and gauge the party's readiness across the broader northern region as electoral contests approach.
According to Newsable, Modi urged the lawmakers to increase their involvement in social activities and community service. The direction reflects the BJP's emphasis on connecting party representatives directly to citizens through grassroots work. Lawmakers expressed eagerness to discuss their contributions to the state and their readiness to deepen their outreach efforts going forward.
