FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem Vows to Keep Fernando Alonso in Formula 1

FIA President, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, has stated that it wouldn't be acceptable for Fernando Alonso to leave Formula 1 due to circumstances such as dissatisfaction with his team Aston Martin and the new F1 regulations. Alonso, who has only three points after 13 races this season, is considering racing in another series or taking a non-driving role next season. Ben Sulayeem has spoken with Aston Martin owner Lawrence Stroll to help the team improve. He also stated that Spain could keep two races on the calendar every year, with the Spanish GP returning to Madrid after more than four decades.
