Man Charged With Murder Following Discovery of Body in Bournemouth

A court previously heard that Higgins’s body was found in a bike shed near the Paddington Grove address after being moved there from another location.
Ball appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on October 2 and did not enter a plea to the murder charge; he is due at Bournemouth Crown Court for a pre-trial review on November 27.
At an earlier court appearance on July 8, Ball pleaded not guilty to the charge of preventing the lawful and decent burial of a dead body.
Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Jenkins urged the public to avoid commentary, particularly online or on social media, that could prejudice the active court proceedings.
