Quavo Reveals How Takeoff's Tragic Death Eased Friction With Offset

Quavo, a member of Migos, has spoken about how the death of his nephew and groupmate Takeoff, impacted his relationship with fellow group member Offset. He said that the death "eased it a little bit" and addressed issues that they had previously been in disagreement over. Following Takeoff's death in 2022, Quavo established the Rocket Foundation, dedicated to honoring his late nephew's legacy and combating gun violence in Atlanta and beyond. In 2024, Quaveo received Variety's Hitmakers Humanitarian of the Year award for his gun control efforts.
