Former Trump Official Alina Habba Marries Turkish Businessman in Lavish New York Wedding

Alina Habba married Turkish businessman Turhan Mildon in a lavish celebration at New York’s Waldorf Astoria. The event featured elaborate cherry-blossom and rose displays, a formal reception and luxury food and drink; an event planner estimated that the ballroom, music and flowers alone could have cost about $1 million. Guests included FBI Director Kash Patel, Attorney General Todd Blanche, Trump adviser Margo Martin and former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson. President Trump did not attend, as he was in Tennessee for a college football game.
The couple reportedly planned the wedding in just three months. They had hoped to hold it at the Plaza Hotel, but it was already booked, and they brought in two Palm Beach wedding planners.
Mildon is CEO of Miller Holding, a company founded by his grandfather in 1967 with interests in energy, construction and mining. Reports also describe business connections with political leaders in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Venezuela.
Habba’s children, Chloe and Luke, were seen arriving at the hotel ahead of the reception.
The Daily Mail reported that Habba had been wearing an engagement ring believed to weigh at least 23 carats and that Mildon had reportedly given her luxury gifts, including Hermès Birkin bags.
