Star Wars: Galactic Racer Unveils Derven Acos Campaign During Summer Game Fest.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer, shown during Summer Game Fest 2026, puts players in an underground Outer Rim racing circuit called the Galactic League that’s been effectively taken over by well-connected champion Kestar Bool. League founder Darius Pax recruits Shade, a lone racer with a personal grudge against the Bool family, setting up the campaign’s central rivalry and the goal of reclaiming control before Bool’s corruption deepens. The single-player runs-based structure has branching choices with no backing out once an event is selected, and crashes can end a tour while only certain perks/unlocks carry forward to the next run, creating a risk-reward loop. Between races, a social paddock hub and mechanic Hibi support vehicle customization, including upgrading different repulsorcraft and builds to match each racer’s style. A newly revealed destination, Derven Acos, is positioned as a brutal gauntlet combining multiple planetary hazards, alongside more podracing beyond classic circuits. The game launches October 6, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with Standard and Deluxe editions (including a collector’s option).
Developer Fuse Games said the title is being made "in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games," as part of Summer Game Fest 2026’s deeper look at the rivalry campaign.
The revealed planet/location Derven Acos is described as an end-of-tour gauntlet that "features every planetary condition that racers will have encountered throughout the tour, all combined into" a single challenge.
Between races, the paddock hub isn’t just cosmetic—Shade can "wander the paddock" where racers "swap stories," "throw down challenges," and "occasionally lend a hand," with each planet’s paddock also featuring mechanic Hibi’s workshop.
In addition to classic-circuit podracing expansion, the game is set up to include new "dedicated multiplayer modes," according to coverage of the SGF reveal.
