Director Danny Boyle Endorses Jack O’Connell for the Next James Bond Role

Director Danny Boyle has endorsed Jack O'Connell for the role of James Bond, stating that they should cast him as Bond. This comes as casting continues for the movie, which is currently being presented at the Zurich Film Festival. Boyle praised O'Conan's acting chops as he plays British tabloid editor Larry Lamb in their latest collaboration, Back to Black. He also praised Dune director Denis Villeneuve for his ability to carry on the mantle. Other actors reportedly up for the Bond role include Jacob Elordi, Paul Mescal, Jack Lowden and Callum Turner. A release date for the new Bond movie has not yet been set.
