Four Unique Fall Festivals Across the United States Highlight Agriculture and Music

Statesboro’s free Tractors & Tunes event will celebrate local agriculture with farm exhibits, animals, tractor displays, live music and downtown shopping and dining. In Weld County, the inaugural Kersey Autumn Jubilee will pair antique and competitive tractor pulls with barbecue and pie contests, vendors, family activities and live music. Alpine’s fifth annual Big Bend Bluegrass Festival will feature two days of performances, free music workshops and open jam sessions. San Francisco’s 2026 Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival is scheduled for Oct. 2–4 in Golden Gate Park, with performers including Robert Plant, Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Los Lobos and Mavis Staples, alongside lesser-known artists and special events.
Statesboro’s Tractors & Tunes runs Friday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on East Main Street; visitors can also see farm equipment supplied by local businesses and enjoy a bouncy house.
The Kersey Autumn Jubilee’s schedule includes an antique tractor pull from 10 a.m. to noon, a barbecue and pie competition beginning at noon, and an NSPA Truck & Tractor Pull from 3 to 6 p.m.; Kelsey Jo & The Wild Cards perform from 7 to 9 p.m.
Alpine’s Big Bend Bluegrass Festival will be held indoors at the climate-controlled Alpine Civic Center. Its headliner is Special Consensus, with other featured performers including the Edgar Loudermilk Band, Catahoula Drive and the Finley River Boys.
Hardly Strictly Bluegrass will include a tribute to singer-songwriter Todd Snider, led by his friend Aaron Lee Tasjan and featuring John Craigie, Elizabeth Cook, Chuck Prophet, Steve Poltz and other guests.
