Olympia Financial Group Completes Sale of Raisr Division to Beacon Software

Olympia Financial Group Inc. (TSX: OLY) has sold its Raisr division, completing the deal on July 24, 2026. The company's subsidiary, Olympia Benefits Inc., transferred the Raisr assets to an affiliate of Beacon Software, according to Fort Saskatchewan Record.
Raisr is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) business. It provides technology tools for participants in the private capital and exempt markets — specialized investment spaces where securities are sold outside public stock exchanges.
The sale was made through Olympia Benefits Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Olympia Financial Group. The buyer is an affiliate of Beacon Software. No financial terms of the deal were disclosed, according to Recorder.
Raisr gave clients software tools to manage and operate in private capital markets. These markets let companies raise money from select investors without listing on a public exchange. Beacon Software takes over those tools and services with this acquisition.
Olympia Financial Group runs most of its operations through Olympia Trust Company. The trust company does not take deposits. It focuses on financial services outside traditional banking, according to Ontario Farmer.
Olympia Financial Group's shares trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "OLY". The company has not said how the Raisr sale will affect its overall business strategy or revenue going forward.
Beacon Software, through its affiliate, now owns the Raisr platform. Raisr served a niche but growing part of the financial industry. Private capital and exempt markets have expanded in recent years as companies seek alternatives to public listings.
The deal gives Beacon a ready-made SaaS product with an existing client base in this space. No details were shared about how many clients Raisr currently serves or what Beacon plans to do with the platform next.
