Olympia Financial Group Secures Court Approval and Shareholder Support for Restructuring Plan

Olympia Financial Group Inc. (TSX: OLY) cleared a major hurdle on its plan to restructure management agreements. Shareholders already voted yes on August 24, 2026, backing the transaction at an annual meeting Market Screener. But the deal still needs two more approvals: third-party debt financing and sign-off from Alberta's Minister of Finance under the Loan and Trust Corporations Act.
The restructuring ends the current management agreements between Olympia and Tarman ATM Inc. Shareholders will get paid through cash, company shares, or both The Crag and Canyon. This type of arrangement is common when companies want to simplify their structure or change who runs operations.

The company must also win approval from Alberta's Minister of Finance, since the arrangement affects loan and trust corporation operations under provincial law Cochrane Times Post.
On August 24, 2026, Olympia held an annual and special meeting where shareholders overwhelmingly backed the plan The Whig.
