U.S. Investors Drive Record $7.4 Billion Funding for European Defense Startups

European defense startups raised a record $7.4 billion in venture capital this year, three times the annual total of 2025, according to a report by data provider Dealroom and Resilience Media. This is the first time US investors have contributed more to European defense startups than local funds. Venture capital investments in Europe’s defense technology companies reached $7 billion for the year to date.
