Singapore expands auction of luxury properties linked to major money-laundering case.

As of September 3, 2026, authorities had 25 properties listed for auction in Singapore's money-laundering case, with more than 80 forfeited real estate assets and over 1,000 non-cash items set to be realised in phases from 2026 through 2027.
SRI is the exclusive marketing agent for 10 properties to be auctioned, including six luxury apartments at Martin Modern, with other listings handled by Edmund Tie & Company and Knight Frank.
South Beach Residences will auction five units, including a 42nd-floor penthouse of about 6,727 square feet, with guide prices ranging from approximately S$4.45 million to S$25.32 million.
Knight Frank is auctioning four units at Gramercy Park, two units at Sloane Residences, and one 3,498 sq ft office space at Suntec Tower One; its Sept 17 auction is scheduled at the Ocean Financial Centre.
A Shun Li Industrial Park office space in Kaki Bukit is among the listings, with a guide price of about S$3.6 million.
Singapore is selling off 25 to 26 luxury properties seized in its largest money-laundering case, with auctions starting in mid-September 2026. The real estate—including penthouses and high-end condos—is part of a broader asset seizure from a S$3 billion probe involving more than 80 forfeited properties and over 1,000 jewelry and watch items. Guide prices range from roughly S$2.2 million to S$25 million, with sales managed by SRI, Edmund Tie & Company, and Knight Frank.
The auctions reflect Singapore's effort to recover value from forged assets tied to the investigation. Deloitte Singapore says more than 1,000 non-cash assets will be progressively sold from September 2026 through mid-2027. Real estate auctions are scheduled for September 17 and September 23 at various Singapore offices, with additional luxury items—watches, jewels—to follow in phases over the coming year.
The 25 to 26 properties slated for sale feature some of Singapore's most exclusive addresses. South Beach Residences alone has five units, including a 42nd-floor penthouse spanning 6,727 square feet with a guide price near S$25.32 million. Martin Modern contributes six luxury apartments to the sale, while Wallich Residence and other premium buildings like Gramercy Park and Sloane Residences round out the residential offerings, according to SRI and Edmund Tie & Company.
Commercial spaces are also included. Knight Frank is auctioning a Grade A office at Suntec Tower One spanning 3,498 square feet, plus a Shun Li Industrial Park office in Kaki Bukit with a guide price around S$3.6 million. These high-value properties span residential luxury condos and corporate real estate—all seized in the money-laundering investigation.
SRI serves as the exclusive marketing agent for 10 properties, including the six Martin Modern units. Edmund Tie & Company and Knight Frank handle the remaining listings. Knight Frank alone manages four units at Gramercy Park, two units at Sloane Residences, and the Suntec office. The auctions split across two dates: September 17 at the Ocean Financial Centre and September 23 at other Singapore venues.
Real estate is only the opening move. Deloitte Singapore oversees liquidation of more than 1,000 non-cash items—luxury watches, jewelry, and other valuables. These assets will be sold in phases starting September 2026 and continuing through mid-2027. The staged approach allows authorities to manage the market release of high-value goods without flooding the market all at once, maximizing recovery from the largest money-laundering case in Singapore's history.
The 25 to 26 properties at auction represent only a fraction of assets tied to the case. Authorities have earmarked more than 80 forfeited real estate properties for liquidation as part of the S$3 billion investigation. Alongside the branded luxury residential buildings and offices being auctioned, dozens of other properties will be sold through expressions of interest and other government channels. This multi-channel approach distributes sales over time and maximizes proceeds for the Singapore government.
