Singapore Stablecoin Payments Firm dtcpay Secures $25M Series A Funding From SBI

dtcpay’s platform is powered by a proprietary real-time swap engine designed to enable instant exchange and settlement between stablecoins and fiat, reducing the delays and intermediary fees associated with traditional cross-border infrastructure.
The company says it has integrated with WalletConnect to support stablecoin acceptance across more than 700 wallets and launched an early stablecoin-to-fiat Visa Infinite card usable across Visa’s network of more than 150 million merchant locations.
dtcpay has pursued real-world merchant adoption through partnerships including BNB Chain, Metro—the first department store in Singapore to accept stablecoin payments—and Capella Singapore.
The Series A followed a $16.5 million pre-Series A round announced in June 2023; dtcpay was founded in 2019 by Alice Liu and Band Zhao.
Beyond its Singapore Major Payment Institution license, dtcpay has established regulatory footprints in Europe, Hong Kong, Australia and North America, according to the company.

Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India led the round, while Genedant Capital and existing backer Kwee Liong Tek also participated Bitcoin.com. The funding will help dtcpay expand its payment products, merchant network, and international operations as it works to make cross-border payments faster and cheaper than traditional banks.
