North West and rapper Molly Santana have canceled their 14-city Kimokawaii Tour just days before it was set to begin, according to Music Times and Hype Fresh. The tour's August 5 kickoff at House of Blues in Dallas was scrapped, with Ticketmaster listing every date — from Houston to New York to Los Angeles — as canceled.
No official reason has been given for the sudden cancellation, Parade reported. Both artists posted apologies on social media on July 30, just days before the first show. Fans who bought tickets were left scrambling for answers.
Ticketmaster Confirms All 14 Dates Are Canceled
The Kimokawaii Tour was announced on June 16 and was meant to run through August 25 in San Francisco, according to Music Times. Stops included Houston, Toronto, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Ticketmaster now lists every date as canceled, and Santana's tour link has been broken entirely.
The San Francisco date on August 25 remained briefly listed on the venue's site, creating uncertainty, Hype Fresh noted. But the broader picture is clear — the entire tour is formally dead. North West, who is 13 years old, was set to headline her very first tour.
Santana and North West Both Apologized to Fans Online
Molly Santana posted an apology on her Instagram Stories on July 30. She wrote: 'To everyone who bought tickets to the tour, I sincerely apologize... I love y'all so much and I promise I will make this one up to you. black punk otw & be right back.' According to AOL, she did not give a specific reason for the cancellation.
North West also addressed fans online. She said the tour isn't happening as planned but promised she has 'something special for you guys' and told fans to 'see you soon,' according to Parade. Neither artist's team gave a formal public statement with details.
High Expectations Had Built Around North West's Debut Tour
North West had built real buzz heading into the tour. She released a debut EP that drew wide attention, partly due to her family's fame, according to Music Times. The Kimokawaii name is inspired by a Japanese aesthetic style. Fans and industry watchers had high hopes for what would have been her first headlining run.
The cancellation adds to a rough stretch for the broader Kardashian family in entertainment. SSBCrack News noted that other family members and Ye — North West's father — have also faced touring and public challenges this year. Ye drew significant backlash for past antisemitic remarks.
