Emirates Launches First Direct Daily Flights Connecting Dubai and Helsinki

The Airbus A350-900 serving Helsinki has 298 seats. Onboard catering includes Finnish-inspired dishes such as juniper-marinated salmon, seared venison and lingonberry cheesecake.
Emirates described the route as the only year-round direct connection between Finland and the UAE, positioning it as a consistent link for leisure, corporate travel and trade.
Inaugural-flight passengers received commemorative gifts, including a red leather pouch bearing the route details and Helsinki’s coat of arms, a Finland-and-UAE-themed keychain, an A350 charm, Finland stickers, a beanie and a flight certificate.
The inaugural service was welcomed by UAE Ambassador to Finland Amna Fikri, Finavia route-development chief Petri Vuori and Emirates commercial executive Pierfrancesco Carino; Emirates’ delegation was led by Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim.
Emirates launched daily nonstop flights between Dubai and Helsinki on October 1, marking the airline's first direct connection to Finland.
