President Trump expands TrumpRx, adding 160 more discounted medications to the platform.

President Trump has expanded TrumpRx for the second time in two months, adding 160 more prescription drugs to the administration's direct-to-consumer platform KSN. The move brings the total catalog to more than 750 medications, covering conditions from obesity to infertility to asthma.
Trump claimed the platform has saved Americans more than $400 million since its February launch WGN TV. He said on Truth Social that "four out of five medications picked up by Americans" are now listed on the site.
How TrumpRx Went From 43 Drugs to 750
TrumpRx.gov launched in February 2026 with just 43 brand-name drugs PIX11. A first expansion in May added more than 600 generic medications and pulled in price data from Amazon Pharmacy, GoodRx, and Mark Cuban's Cost Plus Drug Company. This latest round adds 160 more, with CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz announcing the additions at a White House briefing on June 2.
The platform is the digital face of Trump's "Most Favored Nation" (MFN) policy. MFN means drugmakers cannot charge Americans more than the lowest price paid by any other developed country. Trump first tried this approach via executive order in 2020, but legal challenges from the pharmaceutical industry blocked it CW39.
Ozempic for $199, IVF Drug Down 83 Percent
The price cuts on the platform are steep. Wegovy, a popular weight-loss drug, drops from $1,349 per month to $149 per month under TrumpRx deals. Ozempic falls from $1,028 to between $199 and $350 per month. Gonal-F, used in IVF treatment, goes from $1,450 per pen to $252 — an 83 percent reduction WJHL.
The June expansion focuses on high-demand drugs. Those include GLP-1 obesity and diabetes medications, fertility treatments, and asthma inhalers. Dr. Oz said: "Transparency drives cost-effective changes in how we procure and consume products. It gives everybody the ability to make important decisions with full knowledge of what the cost is."
Deals Struck With 17 Drug Giants, Including Pfizer and Eli Lilly
Seventeen major drug companies have signed voluntary MFN agreements with the administration KSN. The list includes Pfizer, Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk, and Regeneron. In exchange, those companies received reprieves from threatened tariffs. Mark Cuban's Cost Plus Drugs alone supplies 559 of the medications currently listed on the site.
The platform was built by a team that includes Joe Gebbia, co-founder of Airbnb, who designed the price-comparison engine. Trump described it as a way to give consumers "one source to ensure they are getting the lowest possible cost." The Council of Economic Advisers projects MFN policies will save the U.S. market $529 billion over the next decade WGN TV.
Critics Say Insured Patients May See Little Benefit
TrumpRx is built for cash-paying patients — people without insurance or those with high-deductible plans. It lets them skip insurance middlemen called Pharmacy Benefit Managers. But critics, including Senators Elizabeth Warren and Tammy Duckworth, argue the platform does little for the millions of Americans who rely on insurance co-pays CW39.
The pharmaceutical industry group PhRMA has raised constitutional objections, warning that tying U.S. prices to foreign countries will cut funding for drug research. Some economic analysts describe the platform's broader market impact as "style over substance," noting that drug costs within employer-sponsored insurance plans remain largely unchanged PIX11.
