Major traffic restrictions and road closures are planned across multiple international cities this week.

Ghana’s Greater Accra Passenger Transport Executive is piloting peak-hour contraflow lanes for Ayalolo buses on four corridors, barring other vehicles from those lanes and warning violators they may face court action. In Chișinău, temporary daytime and overnight restrictions are planned on several streets for tree maintenance and road repairs; a separate Sunday cycling championship will close part of Albisoara Street and divert trolleybus 38. In Saskatoon, weekend and early-week closures will affect several roads for a marathon, a festival, drainage and sewer work, paving, patching and water-main repairs.
In Accra, Ayalolo buses will use lanes normally carrying opposing traffic from 6–9 a.m. toward the CBD and from 4–7 p.m. away from it. Cones, reflective dividers and signs will mark the lanes, with GAPTE wardens and MTTD personnel enforcing the restrictions at selected intersections.
The Chișinău daytime closure for tree work is scheduled for Monday, 8:30 a.m.–3 p.m., on sections of Armenească and Mitropolit Varlaam streets. Nighttime lane-by-lane restrictions include Sihastrului Street from September 28 to October 30, and sections of Ismail Street and Renașterii Naționale Boulevard from September 28 to November 30.
For the Chișinău cycling championship, trolleybus 38 will be rerouted in both directions via Ion Creangă Street, Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, Constantin Negruzzi Boulevard and Iuri Gagarin Boulevard before rejoining its usual route.
In Saskatoon, the Victoria Avenue closure for water-main work, between Taylor Street East and 2nd Street East, is expected to last four weeks; the listed end times for closures are subject to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
