Pistons Sign Jalen Duren

Jalen Duren returns to the Detroit Pistons on a five-year contract extension.

All-NBA center Jalen Duren is returning to the Detroit Pistons on a five-year, $200 million contract, according to reports. The two teams had been unable to reach a deal for months due to dissatisfaction with Duren's playoff performance. The new agreement removes a weight clause that prevents the addition of this clause. Duren, who was drafted 13th overall in the 2022 NBA, has played his entire four-year career in Detroit and has career averages of 13.5 and 10.3 rebounds.
