Pokemon and the European Space Agency launch new collection featuring spaceflown Pikachu

Pokémon Center has launched a space-themed collection created with the European Space Agency, inspired by the Astronaut Pikachu plush that accompanied ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot to the International Space Station. The plush spent 67 days in orbit, and the new lineup includes two $29.99 Pikachu plush designs, apparel, pins, patches, and Pokémon Trading Card Game accessories such as sleeves, a deck box, playmat, and binder. A bomber jacket is also part of the collection, while an Astronaut Pikachu figure and a 1,000-piece puzzle are planned for later release. The merchandise arrives ahead of World Space Week, alongside related Pokémon and ESA activities in Europe.
The mission plush was in orbit from April 11 through June 17, 2026, completing approximately 1,040 circuits of Earth.
The $129.99 bomber jacket features individual Pokémon patches and a Poké Ball zipper; the patch set also includes designs featuring Cosmog, Lunatone, and Minior.
On October 4, World Space Week is set to begin with a new space-themed Pokémon GO event and interactive “Space and Pokémon” exhibitions at selected museums across Europe.
The ESA’s own shop lists a foldable tote bag showing Pikachu and three other space-associated Pokémon floating against a backdrop of Earth and Mercury.
