Agius Set for Tech3 MotoGP Debut in 2027

Tech3’s decision to sign Agius was described as a personal choice by new team boss Guenther Steiner, the team’s managing director and former Haas Formula 1 team principal.
Tech3 team manager Nicolas Goyon said Agius has shown both the speed and mentality for MotoGP, adding that his youth gives the team “a lot of potential” to develop together. Goyon also said Agius is “hungry to learn” and has already demonstrated that he can fight at the front.
Agius credited his family, friends, teams, engineers and mechanics for helping him reach MotoGP, saying their support and sacrifices had played a role throughout his career.
Agius will be part of a five-rider rookie class for MotoGP’s 850cc and Pirelli era, alongside David Alonso, Dani Holgado, Izan Guevara and WorldSBK champion-elect Nicolò Bulega.
