Multiple Schools Announce 2026 Homecoming Courts and Upcoming Celebration Schedules

Howard Payne University, Clear Fork High School, Pittston Area High School and Lake-Lehman Junior/Senior High School have announced their 2026 homecoming courts. Howard Payne’s nominees for king, queen, prince and princess will appear in the Oct. 3 parade, with the court crowned at halftime of the university’s football game that afternoon. Clear Fork’s court will be honored before its Friday game against Shelby, while Pittston Area will announce its queen at a Friday pep rally and crown her during the football game’s halftime. Lake-Lehman’s court, elected by students in grades nine through 12, will be recognized during homecoming events Oct. 2-3, with the queen crowned Friday and the king selected at Saturday’s dance.
Howard Payne’s nominees are Jacob Hill, Biak Sang and Nathan Weems for king; Abigail Henderson, Elsa Leake and Kourtney Melton for queen; Manuel Chaco, Matthew Van Gorp and Emmanuel Young for prince; and Dariany Cottle, Makenzie Estrada and Karly Hardy for princess.
Clear Fork’s homecoming week runs Sept. 28-Oct. 1 and includes Spirit Week, a pep rally, football games and a homecoming dance.
Pittston Area’s court will have a luncheon hosted by the Yearbook Club before the pep rally, and 2025 queen Juliana Menendez will return to crown the new queen.
Lake-Lehman’s court members are Zachary Koval, Sara Womach, Grafton Yanuzzi, Betsy Digiovanni, Bodhi Cronin, Gianna DeCesaris, Noah Corcoran, Hannah Sell, Finian Cronin and Kate Hynick; the Friday homecoming game is against Nanticoke.
