The Celebrity Traitors returns to BBC One with twenty-one famous contestants competing for charity.

The series opened with a 75-minute episode filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands.
Before being selected as a Traitor, Maya Jama said she hoped her welcoming manner would make people trust her; she described her approach as an “unassuming warm and misleading traitor” and called her selection the start of her “villain era.”
Richard E. Grant said he would feel “no guilt” because it was a game, adding that “Friendships mean diddly squat.”
Ally McCoist said his main concern about taking part would be keeping a straight face. He has previously turned down I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! three times, citing his dislike of cockroaches among his reservations.
