Huskeys raises $27M Series A led by Blackstone

Blackstone opened a Tel Aviv office in 2021 to tap into Israel's growing cybersecurity and tech ecosystem.
Assi Cohen and Lior Suchard participated as investors in Huskeys; Lior Suchard also serves as an adviser to the startup.
NextEra Energy, Inc. joined the Series A round as an investor.
Huskeys describes its NESM architecture as a layer that sits above existing security tools, continuously assessing the edge environment and orchestrating policy changes across multiple vendors rather than replacing components.
Eran Reshef, the inventor of WAF and CAPTCHA, participated as an individual investor in Huskeys’ Series A.
Israeli cybersecurity startup Huskeys has raised $27 million in Series A funding led by Blackstone, valuing the company at over $100 million. The round brings Huskeys' total funding to $35 million in less than a year, signaling rapid investor confidence in its approach to protecting businesses from AI-driven malicious traffic.
Founded in 2025 by IDF Unit 8200 veterans Itai Gafni and Roy Weisfeld, Huskeys builds a security layer that sits atop existing web protection tools to detect and block malicious autonomous agents. Unite.ai reports the startup processes trillions of web requests daily as AI agents account for an expected 70% of all internet traffic by 2027.
Blackstone opened its Tel Aviv office in 2021 to invest in Israel's rapidly growing cybersecurity and technology sector. The $27 million Series A check reflects the firm's confidence in Huskeys' vision for protecting enterprises as AI transforms internet traffic patterns.
Huskeys' Network Edge Security Management (NESM) platform doesn't replace existing firewalls, CDNs, or web application firewalls (WAFs). Instead, it adds an agentic AI layer on top that continuously assesses network edges and orchestrates policy changes across multiple vendors simultaneously.
This approach addresses a critical problem: most enterprises use security tools from different vendors that don't communicate with each other. Huskeys ties them together with intelligent automation to distinguish legitimate autonomous agents from malicious traffic.
Beyond Blackstone, Huskeys attracted backing from venture firms including Merlin Ventures, Skinos Ventures, Zscaler Ventures, and Okta Ventures. Corporate investors from Google, Microsoft, and Intel also joined the round, alongside angel investors like SV Angel.
Notably, Eran Reshef, the inventor of WAF and CAPTCHA technologies, participated as an individual investor. Assi Cohen and advisor Lior Suchard also backed the round, and energy giant NextEra Energy joined as a new investor.
Huskeys moved from its $8 million seed round earlier in 2026 to a $27 million Series A in just six months. The speed reflects investor urgency around AI-driven traffic threats as autonomous agents proliferate across the web.
With non-human traffic expected to reach 70% of all internet activity by 2027, enterprises are racing to build defenses. Huskeys' unified orchestration layer offers a practical solution without forcing costly tool replacements.
