DNAxFIT Unveils New Website to Expand Custom Gym Design Services Across Quebec

DNAxFIT, a Quebec-based gym design firm, launched a new website at dnaxfit.com on June 30, 2026, aiming to reach clients across the province. The platform covers five client segments — corporate, private, commercial, institutional, and senior living — and includes a quote request form with a guaranteed 48-hour response time, according to Newsfile Corp.
Founder Érick Grandmont, who has over 30 years in the fitness industry, said the launch signals a new direction. "This new website reflects where DNAxFIT is headed: a clearer, more professional way to showcase how we transform spaces into high-performance environments," he said, per Newsfile Corp.
DNAxFIT handles every step of a gym project. That means 2D space design, equipment sourcing, financing, and full installation. What sets the firm apart is its use of kinesiology — the science of human movement — to guide equipment placement and room flow, according to Newsfile Corp. Kinesiologist Danny Gaudreau leads that effort, ensuring layouts are built around how people actually move, not just how things look.
Project costs range from $15,000 for an essential home gym to over $40,000 for high-end residential builds. For large commercial or institutional clients, DNAxFIT offers leasing through a partnership with financing provider Grenke, with limits up to $300,000. Typical residential projects take two to eight weeks from start to finish, per Newsfile Corp.
Quebec is home to 926 fitness facilities, about 17% of Canada's total market, according to Newsfile Corp. But attendance at large "big box" gyms has split into two trends: companies building in-house wellness spaces, and homeowners investing in private gyms. Commercial gym membership prices in Quebec rose 15.9% between 2021 and 2024, making private gym ownership break-even in as little as two to three years.
Around 40% of jobs in Quebec are now classified as sedentary. That has pushed more employers to invest in on-site fitness spaces. Quebec SMEs can also tap government funding through the Ministry of Education to support employee wellness programs, lowering the cost barrier for firms like DNAxFIT to win corporate contracts, according to Newsfile Corp.
DNAxFIT's most telling move may be its push into senior living spaces. Industry group canfitpro lists "active aging" as a top fitness trend for 2026. Designing mobility-adapted gyms for elder care centers could help reduce falls and lower long-term healthcare costs across the province, per Newsfile Corp.
Corporate clients are already seeing results. Émilie, a corporate wellness director at Prograin, said, "The gym is truly part of daily life at Prograin... the kinesiologist follow-up provides personalized support to our employees." Partner Raphaël Jolicoeur of Groupe ProGym Inc. added that working with Grandmont is defined by "trust and transparency," according to Newsfile Corp.
DNAxFIT distributes well-known equipment brands including Matrix, Iron Bull, Escape Fitness, and PRx Performance. The firm also carries its own proprietary line called DNA Equipment. The new website offers both French and English interfaces, reflecting the bilingual nature of DNAxFIT's target market across Quebec, according to Newsfile Corp.
