Giants Head Coach John Harbaugh Explains Reasoning For Releasing Odell Beckham Jr

Oddell Beckham Jr was released by the New York Giants after not performing well in his second stint with the team. After receiving no catches and playing only 19 snaps in three games, coach John Harbaugh stated that releasing Beckham was the best move for the team and its offense. The Giants are now moving forward with wide receivers Braxton Berrios and Charlie Jones having been added to the active roster. Beckham, who was drafted in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft, was a fan favorite and had three straight seasons of at least 1,300 yards receiving. The team also lost quarterback Jaxson Dart for the remainder of the regular season due to a knee injury.
