Voices of America Country Music Festival to Depart West Chester After 2026 Over Capacity Concerns

The original VOA festival license included automatic renewals for 2025 and 2026, and any continuation into 2027 or 2028 would require mutual agreement between the township and Further Festivals, with notices indicating 2026 would be the final year under the current terms.
Jordan Davis is listed as a headliner for the 2026 VOA Country Music Fest, adding to the lineup that already includes Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.
The festival provides detailed parking and transportation options, including on-site general admission parking (with advance purchase required) and VIP parking, with specific entry routes and an address for directions (7050 VOA Park Drive).
Voices of America Festival has been held at VOA MetroPark since 2023, and coverage notes its popularity with major acts, reflecting the park’s relatively recent relocation for the event before its final year at the site.
The Voices of America Country Music Festival is leaving West Chester Township for good. Dayton Daily News reported that the four-day event, which draws more than 100,000 fans to VOA MetroPark each year, will not return after 2026. West Chester Township declined to renew its agreement with organizer Further Festivals, making 2026 the final year under the current license.
Township officials cited growing demands on public safety resources, lengthy planning requirements, and property restoration costs. They also said the festival has not produced a measurable local economic benefit large enough to offset those impacts, according to WHIO.
West Chester Township issued notices to Further Festivals in June 2026 stating that 2026 would be the final year at VOA MetroPark. The original license included automatic renewals for 2025 and 2026. Any extension into 2027 or 2028 would require a new mutual agreement — and the township chose not to pursue one, according to Journal-News.
Officials pointed to two main problems. First, the event stretches local resources thin. Hosting more than 100,000 fans over four days requires major public safety staffing and post-event park restoration. Second, the township said the park has long-term capacity limits that the festival pushes up against every year.
The final VOA Country Music Fest at the park is not going out quietly. Dayton Daily News reported the 2026 lineup includes Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, and Jordan Davis. Davis was added as a headliner, rounding out one of the biggest lineups the festival has seen.
The event is held at 7050 VOA Park Drive. Fans can buy on-site general admission parking in advance, and VIP parking is also available. The festival has been held at VOA MetroPark since 2023, making 2026 only its fourth year at the site before the move.
The festival is not dead — just moving. Journal-News reported that Further Festivals will need to find a new home for the event starting in 2027. Township officials said the decision gives both sides time to plan for a relocation or new arrangements before the current license expires.
West Chester Township thanked the organizers, safety personnel, and regional partners who helped run the event over the years. WHIO noted the township stressed it wants the 2026 festival to finish safely and in full compliance with its license terms before the curtain comes down on the partnership.
