Bills’ Ed Oliver Out After Warmup Hip Injury

Ed Oliver had five tackles, including one for loss, and one quarterback hit in Buffalo’s 36-31 Week 1 victory over Houston.
Cole Bishop was limited in practice Tuesday and Wednesday after suffering knee and groin injuries against Houston, but he was cleared to start against Detroit.
Buffalo elevated Greg Dortch and Frank Gore Jr. from the practice squad for a second consecutive week; Dortch had handled kick and punt returns in Week 1, while Gore had played extensively as the third-down back.
Detroit was expected to replace its injured offensive linemen with Ben Bartch at left guard, Juice Scruggs at center and Larry Borom at right tackle.
The Lions’ starting safeties, Brian Branch and Kirby Joseph, were unavailable after opening the season on the physically unable to perform list; Detroit cornerback D.J. Reed, who had been questionable with a foot injury, was active.
Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver will sit out Thursday night's game against the Detroit Lions after suffering a hip injury during pregame warmups, a surprise absence since he didn't appear on the team's injury report. Reuters reported Oliver's inactivity came despite his strong Week 1 performance, when he recorded five tackles, one for loss, and one quarterback hit in Buffalo's 36-31 victory over Houston.
The injury leaves Buffalo's defensive line short-handed heading into a matchup with Detroit's rushing attack, which piled up 165 yards in Week 1. The Bills also remain without defensive tackle T.J. Sanders and have rookie Zane Durant sidelined on injured reserve, putting extra pressure on a depleted front four.
Sustainability in Business is the practice of an organization conducting its operations and interactions with stakeholders in ways that take account of their social, economic, and environmental impact. In other words, it means managing a business in a way that balances profit with the planet and people. The goal of sustainability in business is to create long-term value for all stakeholders—not just shareholders. This includes customers, employees, suppliers, communities, and the natural environment. A business that embraces sustainability aims to minimize its negative impact on the world and contribute positively to society. This helps both the company and the world to thrive in the long run.
