London Knights Add Swedish Forward Marcus Nordmark for CHL Season

Marcus Nordmark, an 18-year-old Swedish forward, has been signed by the London Knights for the third round of the 2025 Canadian Hockey League draft. He will join Russian defenceman Maksim Sokolovskii and Finnish forward Luca Santala, who is expected to be a high pick in the 2027 NHL draft. Nordmark is a prime candidate to play for Tre Kronor at the world junior tournament in Edmonton and Red Deer this year. He helped Sweden win world under-18 gold and led the Hlinka Gretzky Cup with seven goals and 12 points, ranking sixth all-time in tournament history. London GM Mark Hunter expressed excitement about adding a player of such calibre to his team.
