iOS 27 Siri Overhaul

Siri AI has its own app where users can review previous conversations, and it supports text entry and follow-up questions in a more chatbot-like format.

Siri AI can create a new Shortcut from a plain-language description, allowing users to describe a workflow verbally while the system builds the automation across apps such as Mail, Phone and Photos.

The redesigned Weather app adds separate tabs for conditions, precipitation and wind, along with a Highlights feature that provides a written summary of the day’s forecast.

Apple’s release notes reportedly identify the Apple Foundation Model powering the overhaul as having been trained with Google Gemini, while a new System Orchestrator coordinates Apple Intelligence functions across text, images and other tasks.
