Harvard Lifts Shelter-in-Place Order Following Memorial Hall Bomb Threat

Harvard issued an emergency alert after a bomb threat was reported at Memorial Hall on Monday morning, directing people nearby to shelter in place and others to avoid the area. Harvard University Police responded, Cambridge police assisted and conducted a sweep of the building, and shuttle service near Memorial Hall was halted. The shelter-in-place order was later lifted, but students were still asked to stay away from Memorial Hall and the nearby Science Center while the response continued.
