Fresno City Dominates Two Tournaments Undefeated
Fresno City College swept the NorCal vs. SoCal Volleyball Showcase on September 4-5, posting a 16-1 set record against San Diego Mesa, Grossmont, Long Beach, and Bakersfield. Days later, the team went 4-0 at the Delta Classic, defeating Shasta and Clovis on day one, San Joaquin Delta in the semifinals, and top-ranked Feather River College 3-2 in the championship match. Sophomore Kalani Soares earned tournament MVP honors with 23 kills and 21 digs in the final alone.
Coach Kieran Roblee credited the team's mental approach for their success.
