IDF Intelligence Chief Reports 4,000 October 7 Attackers Killed by Forces

In September, Israeli forces said they killed 70 terrorists, including three brigade commanders, two battalion commanders and nine company commanders; 17 of those killed were identified as participants in the October 7 invasion, abductions or hostage-taking.
Among those killed was Hamas cell commander Muhammad Jamal Mahmoud Abu Al-Shaar, whom the IDF said infiltrated Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7 and was involved in abducting six Israelis.
The Jerusalem Post reported that at least 420 terrorists who took part in the October 7 attack had been killed since the 2025 ceasefire began.
The ceasefire agreement, brokered by the Trump administration in October 2025, ended major hostilities and included the release of all remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza, both living and deceased, according to World Israel News.
