Album Returns to No. 1

Taylor Swift's Encore Edition Boosts Album Back to No. 1 Spot

Taylor Swift's "The Life of a Showgirl" has returned to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 album chart, marking the 13th week the album has spent at No.1. The release of an expanded edition titled “The Encore” with four new bonus tracks boosted sales, with 173,000 equivalent units in its first week and 136,000 in total. Most of this was due to streaming consumption of the four new tracks. The album's new single, “Patient Zero," is expected to debut at No 1 on Billboard's Hot 100. Other top 10 albums include Tinashe's "Popstar" and Kenny Chesney's "Silver Sands Marina".
