Mark Sanchez Guilty Plea

Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez plans to plead guilty following a physical altercation.

Former USC and NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez plans to enter a guilty plea in connection with his physical altercation with a 69-year-old truck driver in Indianapolis last October. The parties of both parties have filed a joint motion asking for a sentencing trial to be held for November. Sanchez was in Indianapolis to cover a Colts game for Fox Sports and was charged with a level five felony of battery involving serious bodily injury, other misdemeanors, and public intoxication. In a civil suit against Sanchez, truck driver Perry Tole alleges he suffered severe permanent disfigurement, loss of function, and emotional distress. Sanchez, who was hospitalized with stab wounds following the incident, is no longer employed by Fox Sports.
