Indiana Fever GM Amber Cox defends team fanbase following WNBA playoff exit

Indiana Fever's general manager, Amber Cox, responded to criticism of the team's fan base during her end-of-season exit interview, stating that "attacks on our fanbase have no basis in reality." This comes after the team was eliminated from the WNBA playoffs by the Las Vegas Aces. In Game 2 of the series, Aces star A’ja Wilson confronted a fan who stood up from his seat and pointed at him, but was allowed to return after the Fever determined there was no violation of the fan code of conduct. Cox argued that any person who crosses the line in an arena or online needs to be held accountable. Aces forward Brianna Turner responded by calling Cox's statement "an unequivocally false statement".
