AI Voice Startup ElevenLabs Doubles Valuation to $22 Billion After Share Sale

ElevenLabs says its technology is used in daily operations at five of the world’s 10 largest technology companies, five of the 10 largest insurers and four of the 10 largest telecoms firms.
Its customers include Stripe, Deutsche Telekom and Admiral, as well as the governments of Greece and Ukraine; use cases include handling refunds, renewing insurance policies and booking healthcare appointments.
This was ElevenLabs’ second employee share sale: in September 2025, employees were able to sell $100 million in shares at a $6.6 billion valuation.
ElevenLabs says its models support voice generation, recognition and translation in more than 90 languages, spanning a population of over 5.5 billion speakers.
ElevenLabs, the AI voice company, has doubled its valuation to $22 billion through a $300 million employee share sale, according to Music Business Worldwide. The tender offer lets workers sell existing shares to investors rather than the company raising new capital. Wellington Management and T. Rowe Price led the deal, with new backers including EQT and Goldman Sachs joining existing investors.
The Dublin-based startup now claims its AI agents handle over 15 million conversations weekly, with enterprise customers making up 55% of revenue, BM Magazine reported. ElevenLabs' technology powers operations at major tech firms, insurers and telecom companies globally, handling tasks from refunds to healthcare bookings.
ElevenLabs has seen its valuation skyrocket in less than a year. In February 2025, the company was valued at $11 billion. This latest tender offer pushes it to $22 billion — a 100% jump in just months, Business Cloud noted. The company previously held an employee share sale in September 2025, when workers sold $100 million in shares at a $6.6 billion valuation.
ElevenLabs serves major corporations and governments across multiple industries. Customers include Stripe, Deutsche Telekom, Admiral and the governments of Greece and Ukraine, according to CityBiz. The company's AI handles real-world tasks: processing refunds, renewing insurance policies and booking healthcare appointments.
Enterprise customers now account for more than half the company's revenue. NewsBytes reports that five of the world's 10 largest tech companies, five of the 10 biggest insurers and four of the 10 largest telecom firms use ElevenLabs' technology in daily operations.
ElevenLabs' platform supports voice generation, recognition and translation across more than 90 languages. This reaches a combined population of over 5.5 billion speakers worldwide, making the technology available to most of Earth's population. The breadth of language support gives the startup a significant edge in global markets.
Unlike typical funding rounds where companies raise fresh capital, this $300 million deal is a secondary sale. Employees sell their vested shares to new investors — no new money enters the company, Music Business Worldwide explained. Secondary sales let workers benefit from rising valuations without waiting for an exit like an IPO or acquisition.
