SCP Foundation Movie

Neon is developing an anthology horror movie based on the online SCP Foundation.

Neon is developing an anthology movie based on the community-driven horror forum The SCP Foundation, set to release in 2027. The project will focus on platforming emerging filmmakers and is set to be released under the Creative Commons license CC BY-SA. This announcement comes after the SCP Wiki team denounced a film from A24, Spooky Pictures and Image Nation that was announced, stating they have not had any communication with the filmmakers, producers, or distributors regarding this project. The success of A24’s “Backrooms” led Hollywood to acquire film rights for Trevor Henderson’s viral horror creation Siren Head and TriStar Pictures for a movie adaptation.
