How to Claim a Prize If You Win
Prize claim rules vary by state. In South Dakota, winners can collect $100 or less at any lottery retailer. Prizes above $101 require a different process, according to Argus Leader.
In Pennsylvania, winners can claim up to $600 at a retailer or use a Claim Form for prizes up to $2,500, PhillyBurbs noted. Players should always sign the back of their ticket right away to protect their prize if they win.
