Pantera will headline The Great NOLA Trendkill festival in New Orleans this November.

The festival will double as Down’s official Volume V record-release show; the album is scheduled for release on Nov. 20 through Nuclear Blast Records and is the band’s first major release since its Down IV EPs in 2012 and 2014.
The event is being presented by Housecore Horror, Housecore Records and Live Nation, and organizers said individual day-by-day lineups will be announced later.
The artist presale uses the password “NOLA”; sources list it as running from Sept. 8 at noon CST through Sept. 10 at 10 p.m. CST, ahead of the Sept. 11 general sale at 10 a.m. CST.
Pantera is offering Travel VIP packages that can include two-day festival tickets, a two-night hotel stay, exclusive merchandise and shuttle service.
Philip Anselmo described the weekend as “a dream come true” and invited fans to his hometown, saying the event would include Housecore Records and Housecore Horror specialties, horror-industry personalities and artists in addition to the concerts.
