Officers Step In to Save Trapped Bird

Officers Vogel and Orlando responded to the scene and found the owl fully tangled in the goal netting. The bird could not free itself. The two officers worked together to carefully loosen the net and release the owl without injuring it, according to KETV.

Video of the rescue was shared by the Avon Police Department and quickly spread online. The footage shows the officers handling the owl gently before it flies off on its own. WMUR noted the rescue was both quick and effective.
