Several BlackRock iShares iBonds ETFs experience declines and hit new 52-week lows.

Several BlackRock iShares iBonds ETFs experienced modest declines and reached new 52-week lows during recent trading. The Dec. 2032 Term Treasury ETF (IBTM) fell to $21.90 and recently paid a monthly dividend of $0.0759 per share, representing an annualized yield of about 4.2%. The Dec. 2032 Term Corporate ETF (IBDX), which holds investment-grade corporate bonds maturing in 2032, dropped to roughly $24.29, while filings showed several advisory firms initiating or increasing positions. The Dec. 2054 Term Treasury ETF (IBGK) slipped 0.1% to about $22.10 on extremely light volume and recently raised its monthly dividend to $0.0933 per share, for a reported yield of about 5.1%.
IBTM’s price was below both its 50-day moving average of $22.35 and its 200-day moving average of $22.62 after reaching the new low.
Several institutions increased their IBTM holdings, including Atlantic Private Wealth, which raised its position by 25.3% to 293,989 shares, and Parallel Advisors, which increased its holdings by 146.6% to 162,870 shares.
IBDX tracks a Bloomberg index of U.S.-dollar-denominated, investment-grade corporate bonds maturing between Jan. 1 and Dec. 15, 2032; BlackRock launched the fund on June 28, 2022.
IBGK is based on the ICE 2054 Maturity U.S. Treasury Index and holds Treasury bonds maturing between January and December 2054; the fund is scheduled to terminate in December 2054 and was launched on June 11, 2024.
IBGK’s trading activity was exceptionally thin: only about 35 shares changed hands, a 96% decline from its average session volume of 957 shares, while its 50-day and 200-day moving averages stood at $22.32 and $22.93, respectively.
