The victim’s sister found her around 3:30 p.m. beside an open suitcase, according to the arrest warrant.
Four days before the shooting, a caller reported that Brown had allegedly threatened the woman, saying that if he could not have her and their children, no one could, according to the warrant.
The warrant says judges had issued four no-contact orders against Brown in connection with alleged family violence between 2004 and 2018.
Family members told police Brown had been tracking the woman, and officers found a black box under her car that they believed was a GPS device, according to the warrant.
